As I work in oils, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and drawing mediums, I am able to accommodate most requirements or perhaps suggest new to help you fulfil your programme. I try to be as flexible as possible and adjust my presentation according to your requirements. I can supply materials for workshops if required. In all workshops, I supply a full schedule for your session plus a material list for your artists you can pass straight onto them to alleviate any likely confusion on the day.

• Portrait, Figure (clothed), Life (nude) - I can provide sitters and/or model at cost 

• Still Life - An excellent leveller and great for demonstration or workshop 

• Landscape, Seascape/estuary, Boats & harbours - a popular one for teaching water/boats

• Pen and wash - a great demo and workshop - any subject, uses ink and watercolour

• British wildlife - deer, foxes. rabbits, hares, horses, moles., butterflies, moths, beetles ..any media

• Interiors - useful for perspective and the fall of light 

• Understanding tonal values - my most asked for workshop teaches, ambience and mood

• Sketching - summer workshop - we have a morning inside learning technique then go outside to capture specific set scenes  

• Introduction to Plein air painting  summer workshop at a local venue to your group

• Drawing in its own right or in conjunction with painting - levels include basic, basic constructive for painting and in several mediums, graphite, charcoal, ink

• Palette knife painting - in oil or acrylic for workshop but acrylic for demonstration due to paint drying time

• Moving towards abstraction - a wonderful introduction to those interested in exploring abstract painting

• Exploring water-mixable oils - these are excellent and in a workshop, I can supply paint if required
